MR NAVID JALLALI

Mr Jallali was the Head of the department of Plastic Surgery at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London between 2014-2017. Mr. Jallali is one of UK’s leading Plastic surgeons specialising in complex head and neck, skin and breast reconstruction. He has super-specialised in the field of microsurgery which enables him to carry out the most complex forms of reconstruction. He has one of the best free tissue transfer success rates in the United Kingdom and is recognised nationally and internationally for his work at Charing Cross Hospital. His reconstructive practice involves complex microsurgical reconstruction of the head and neck, breast and skin cancers.

Mr. Jallai is a leading surgical tutor in charge of the highly respected microsurgical training post at Charing Cross Hospital. He has trained a number of distinguished Surgeons who have become Consultants in the UK as well as Sweden, Greece and Holland. Mr. Jallali has a strong interest in research and has over 30 peer-reviewed publications including the prestigious British Medical Journal. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2008 for his pioneering research in tissue-engineering which was carried out in collaboration with the Massachusetts’s institute of technology, Harvard, USA. Mr. Jallali is heavily involved in training future Plastic Surgeons.
